- The signing of the booking form (sent to you as a pdf) confirms acceptance of the terms set out below (or any variations agreed in writing) and shall be binding on the persons intending to occupy the premises whether or not such persons have signed the booking form. Each booking will be confirmed as soon as reasonably possible after receipt of the booking form and the appropriate reservation deposit (25% of total cost).
- A non-refundable reservation deposit is payable with the completed booking form. The full balance is payable no less than 6 weeks prior to the date of occupancy. If the booking takes place less than 6 weeks before occupancy, then the balance will be due immediately.
- A refundable cautionary deposit of 100€ is payable with the balance to cover breakages, damages, excessive cleaning costs, or PayPal charges. The cautionary deposit is returnable subject to the deductions to cover any expenses mentioned, within 2 weeks of the vacation of the premises.
- If the balance of the sum due as shown on the booking form remains unpaid 6 weeks prior to the date of departure we reserve the right to cancel the booking and in this event the reservation deposit will be forfeit. If the client cancels after the booking is confirmed the reservation deposit will be forfeit. Additionally if cancellation occurs at any other time a cancellation charge will be levied based on the following: Period before departure more than 42 days, cancellation charge - Reservation deposit only. Period before departure 29 to 42 days, cancellation charge - 50% of total cost. Period before departure less than 29 days, cancellation charge - 100% of total cost. Notwithstanding the above, if the premises are re-let on the same terms, only the reservation deposit is forfeit.
- The maximum number to reside in the premises must not exceed four unless written permission has been given.
- The house is a no-smoking property and pets are only permitted by prior arrangement.
- The premises will be available for occupation from 4pm of the first day of the rental period and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
- We cannot accept liability for any death, personal injury, sickness, accident or loss on the premises unless proved to be caused by negligence on the part of the owners.
- We accept no responsibility and no compensation will be made for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the premises or for loss, damage, injury or delay occasioned by strikes, industrial disputes, fire, flood, technical/weather conditions to transport, aircraft grounding, closure of airports or ports, weather conditions or any event beyond our control or for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the client if the premises shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event all sums previously paid by the client in respect of the rental period will be refunded within seven days of notification to the client.
- The premises will be clean on your arrival. We ask that you leave the premises clean, the beds stripped of cover, sheets and pillowcases, and with the furniture in its original position. In the event that excessive cleaning is required to return the premises to a reasonable condition after your stay these extra cleaning charges will be deducted from the cautionary deposit and details of the cleaning carried out forwarded to you.
- Under no circumstances shall our liability to the client exceed the amount paid for the rental period.
The client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc since these are not covered by the owner’s insurance.
